July 29, 2026, was the scariest day of the Colemans’ lives.

It’s always someone else’s kid…until it’s YOUR kid. All the heart wrenching, heartbreaking things you’ve witnessed others endure – the kind of stuff you really can’t imagine battling – suddenly became the Colemans’ reality.

They were pulled out of an ER room. It was just Joel (Dad), Katie (Mom), a doctor and a chaplain. Their world was rocked. Cal had a large brain tumor.

The Colemans’ future was uncertain. But they quickly remembered they knew who held the future.

God placed the right people and the right places directly on their path. Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude have saved Cal and put him on the path to a full, healthy life.

Now, it’s the Coleman family’s mission to give hope and healing to so many others who are walking and will walk similar paths.

Cal and his family are now committed to being a beacon for other children and families in the middle of life’s storms by beginning the Cal Coleman Collective.

For now, it’s really just a cool logo and mission more than an organization.

The logo features Cal’s side profile looking to God above, and is green (Cal’s favorite color), gray (brain tumor awareness) and gold (childhood cancer awareness).

One day, the Colemans’ goal is for the Cal Coleman Collective to become a full-fledged nonprofit. But this is the start, with a very ambitious first goal.

Cal and his family wants to raise $100,000 – $50K each to Le Bonheur and St. Jude.

Links are below to give to each institution in honor of Cal.

If you love Cal, have been touched by his strength, or simply have a desire to help kids beat the odds, please consider joining us.

No gift is too small. And just to make it clear, these funds are going to St Jude and Le Bonheur. Not the Colemans. This is all about helping others who are or will be in similar shoes.

The Colemans want to uplift families for years to come, and accomplishing the $100,000 goal would be a tremendous first step in that direction.

Let’s do it together.

For kids. For families. For hope.
